I Got the Dense Beard I Wished for
I had a desire to have a denser beard, which led me to undergo a beard hair transplant procedure when I heard about it through social media networks. I realized that the beard transplant procedure is very similar to a hair transplant.

Post-recovery period:

After a short time of healing, the transplanted follicles started to shed, which was completely normal, as Dr. Ahmed Mekkawy had informed me. The follicles go into a resting phase, and new hair growth doesn't happen immediately.
Then, hair regrowth started after approximately four to six months. Now, I can treat the transplanted hair like any other facial hair and allow it to grow or shave it according to my preference.
